Abstract

Basic education curriculum that is a hope of achieving national education goals. But the reality of the mater is the developmen and changes in social life of nation and state in the country and current issues from abroad that can affect people’s lives and indonesia are the things that must be addressed and considered in the preparation of the new curriculum on every level of education. Especially basic education is the forerunner to go info higher education so that the necessary curriculum as a guideline in conducting education.

Some things underlying the preparation of the new curriculum namely a change in legislation either that the new paradigm has implications for curriculum development in primary and secondary education, among others renewal and diversification of the curriculum as well as curriculum development division of authority. Development and global changes in various aspects of life that comes so quickly has become a national challenge and requires immediate attention and present a serious. Condition and trends in future need to be prepared young people, including students who have competence multidimentional.

Curriculum development must be able to anticipate the problems that have likely already or will happen. Curriculum is needed in the future is a curriculum that can provide the skills and expertise to survive in a changing conflict uncertainty uncertainty, uncertainty, and difficulties in life. Therefore, an enhanced curriculum on an onging basis to impropve the quality of education nationwide. Curriculum improvement is done responsive to the application of human rights democratic life of unity and legal certainty of religious life and the resilience of Regional Development cultural development of science and information technology as well as environmental management.
