Meningkatkan Literasi Sains Anak Sekolah Dasar Melalui Model Multiliterasi Saintifik Berbasis Kearifan Lokal

Abstract

Science literacy is a fundamental thing that must be owned by elementary school children in facing the era of industrial revolution 4.0. Science literacy is the ability to understand science, communicate science and solve problems. One of the efforts to improve scientific literacy is the implementation of learning models that are appropriate to the conditions and potential of students so that they can provide direct experience and application of the nature of science. One of them is the application of scientific multiliteration models. Learning with the application of this model can link scientific science material with locally based science material (local wisdom) where local wisdom-based science is generally applicative while scientific science generally contains concepts or theories. The application of the scientific wisdom-based multiliteration model in science learning is expected to have implications for improving student literacy, especially elementary school children.
