Abstract

Family is one of the institutions that carry out the duties and responsibilities in achieving the goals of general education. Father as head of the family really determines the direction of family coaching where each member can make a container of life together to seek physical and spiritual happiness. Through library research methods and observations in the community, parents' contributions will be elaborated in fostering a child literacy culture. The child unconsciously adopts the example of parents, and the most influential example is the example he takes under circumstances that involve a large degree of emotion. Child growth and development are also determined by environmental factors, the environment should be conditioned well in the family. Parents also provide opportunities for children to hang out outside the home, but parents must direct children to be able to choose and sort out the right relationships for children. The era of modernization today, the important role of parents is needed in connection with the development of technological sophistication, that technology is growing rapidly so that its use is widely used improperly.
