Penerapan Literasi Kritis Pada Generasi Alpa Di Zaman Postmodern

Abstract

Postmodernity refers to a period of time, age, time and socio-political conditions that are usually seen accompanying the modern era in a historical understanding. Modern humans are terhegemony by their own rationality that individuals lose their ability to think critically and negatively about society, as the individuals are increasingly unaware that they are in an alienated condition. The loss of human critical thinking skills in this era, it will greatly impact the absorption of information on the generation of alpa, while the generation of alpa  itself is a generation of Internet literacy, all information is easily obtained from the gadget. Both the information in accordance with the facts and information that is not in accordance with the facts or better known as "hoax" by a number of irresponsible persons. To be able to filter the various information on social media and in various texts, it is necessary to overcome the effort. One way is the application of critical literacy. The meaning of critical literacy is the activity of reading a text is not merely an activity of understanding and consuming knowledge contained in the text, whether basic literacy knows the alphabet or letters until reading books Theorists and literary works are activities to build a critical awareness of readers (students, students, teachers), critically understanding the substance of a text that reads to not receive it as a truth and kindness, Understand the social reality more critical and precise, and build self-sovereignty and social groups.
