Abstract

Character is repeated habits. A person's character is determined by the impression given to the mind continuously. If the impression is given to the mind is constantly good, then the code generated will be good, and vice versa. Whatever people do on an ongoing basis, his mind will be full of impressions by what he was thinking, say and do. The formation of character is determined by the impression given to thoughts like this. In short, it can be said that a person's character is formed by the sum total of the tendencies of his mind.

This article describes the transformation of character education to children from the viewpoint of Vedanta. In Vedanta, the most emphasized matter in various fields, whether social, political, economic, ideological, cultural, and the other, is man-making. If the subject is changed, then the object will change accordingly. Any policy taken by the government and other relevant agencies to make changes towards improvement will not mean anything if the people in it unchanged. Vedanta emphasis on personal change, because these individuals will directly make changes in society.
