Abstract

Indonesian holds multidimensional crises which primarily concerns the development of human resource development (HRD). To become a developed nation is needed quality human resources and superior character. Indonesia targets the nation's golden generation in the year 2045. Since then, the nation entered the age of 100 years of independence and will be the most important moment in the history of Indonesia. Golden generation is the generation that has a productive age are required to bring Indonesia to the change for the better. To achieve all of that, it is needed good faith of all elements of this nation so that Indonesia's young generation can grow and develop properly. Character education occupies a position that is vital in realizing the golden generation of Indonesia.
