Abstract

Effect of positive disciplinary on primary school students is an effort to combat anarchist acts which increasingly rampant these days. The tendency is the elementary school children have the characteristics of 'imitator' that they will do anything they have ever seen and they find interesting, regardless of those good or bad actions. The consistent implementation of positive discipline by teachers brings positive correlation to the improvement of children's character quality. Giving reinforcement in the positive discipline is one example. By strengthening the mentality of children through the provision of reinforcement, then the children’s soul will grow in the absence of psychological pressure. Another example is the implementation of storytelling that can make children know a lot of positive and negative character so there are many moral messages which can form their character indirectly. In the process of learning in primary school, children need to be nurtured in a warm situation which is full of intimacy, respect, and empathy. Positive environment will determine the direction of a children’s personality in search of their true identity.
