Abstract

The increasing number of violence among the students, educators should repacking process-based learning to the sublime morality, spirituality, behavior, and moral character. Education can lead students to understand local wisdom. Eventhough physiologically and psychologically students do not know about them but in the stage of imitating and habituating, it is important to give character education since the early age.

Teachers play a role as an educator who has the obligation and autonomy to reform the class to make innovations and changes in the class environment. The school principal is an educational expert who should be always energetic in proposing any new innovations in learning process. The school principal should be a central figure in applying the noble values ​​of life according to religion and culture.

Communities should be involved in controlling the process of internalization of the character education in their environment. So that the community and the school has an equal responsibility in terms of education.
